How does it work?
This program works as a filter for glitches. It scans wav sample for glitches and it removes them only if it finds them. Removal is done using two filters:

  1. Level filter
  2. Smart filter.
Level filter looks for glitches that jump off the surrounding samples for a value greater than some predefined value. If it finds one, it reduces it to the value that is similar to those surrounding values.

Smart filter uses numerical math methods for detection and removal of glitches.

The best results are achieved with combination of both filters.

Usage
The screen snapshot is given above:

At the left there is a source list which contains files that have to be cleaned of glitches. To the right there are target path controls which are used for target path settings. This means that all the cleaned source files will be placed at the target path with a letter I at the end of filename, just before the extension. Add, Remove and RemoveAll buttons are used to maintain the source list.

When you finish file choosing, you have to adjust filters. This program is distributed with its filters set to appropriate values. However, you can set your own values and they will be stored for further usage.

When you set filters, you just press Start button. Full version can be stopped at any moment during the removal by pressing the Stop button, which is the very same Start button, with the caption changed to "Stop".

Below the filters, there is a progress bar that shows current file progress. Source list is being cleaned from the current selected file, to the end of a list.
